A bilingual LMS in Jordan for schools, universities and companies
الأردن
Ilmoria is a learning management system for Jordanian private schools, universities and employers that teach in Arabic and English. It brings courses, exams, live classes, parent communication, admissions and fees into one platform. Every screen works in English and in fully right-to-left Arabic.
Education and training in Jordan
One ministry for education and skills
In 2026 Jordan replaced its Ministry of Education and its Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with a single Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development. The aim is to manage schooling, higher education and skills as one path from school to work. Schools and universities will want systems that can adapt as the new ministry issues its rules.
Tawjihi and a large private sector
The Tawjihi general secondary exam still shapes the final years of school and university admission. A large number of pupils attend private schools, and many of these teach maths and science in English or offer international programmes such as IGCSE, A Level or the IB alongside the national curriculum. Families paying fees expect clear, frequent updates.
Online learning since Darsak
When schools closed in 2020, the education ministry launched the Darsak platform for remote lessons, and teachers and families got used to learning online. Universities have kept using blended courses since. Internet use is widespread, but many students study from a phone, so a mobile-friendly design still matters.
How Ilmoria fits institutions in Jordan
Arabic and English, side by side
Every screen is available in English and fully right-to-left Arabic, and each user picks a language. Teachers write their own content in either language, including maths and science with an equation editor and LaTeX. Staff can correct any Arabic interface wording to match the terms your school already uses.
Parents kept informed
Parents follow each child's grades and final grades, message teachers or the school office in categorised conversations, and print invoices and receipts from the parent portal. Office staff can close and reopen conversations, so requests do not get lost on personal phones.
Exams with integrity checks
Teachers set timed quizzes and exams with randomised questions and attempt limits. Each attempt gets an integrity score from browser events such as leaving the tab, and suspicious attempts are flagged for review. Final exams can require approval before grades are released to students.
University courses and transcripts
Faculties run graded discussions with peer review, rubrics and late policies, then generate transcripts with GPA and credits through an approval workflow. See how Ilmoria supports universities and colleges.
Training for Jordanian employers
Companies run onboarding and mandatory training, managers track completion, and employees receive certificates with QR verification. Staff sign in with Google or Microsoft, and SAML single sign-on is available on enterprise plans.

Data protection: what to check
Jordan's Personal Data Protection Law No. 24 of 2023 took effect in March 2024 and is overseen by a Personal Data Protection Council. It requires explicit, documented consent for a stated purpose, consent from a parent or guardian for children, and limits on transfers to countries with weaker protection. Institutions that process children's data or send data abroad may need to appoint a data protection officer. Check your consent forms, access rights, retention periods and hosting location. Ilmoria provides consent records, role-based access, and data export and deletion on request (see security). Talk to us about your hosting-region requirements.
SecurityQuestions buyers ask
Can Ilmoria run the national curriculum and international programmes together?
Yes. Your school sets up its own grade levels, sections and courses, so a national-curriculum track and an IGCSE or IB track can run side by side with different courses, electives and grading. Students are enrolled automatically in the courses for their grade and section, and teachers mark each course in its own gradebook.
Does Ilmoria help Jordanian schools with the Personal Data Protection Law?
Ilmoria provides tools that help, but compliance remains your institution's responsibility. You can keep consent records, limit access by role, review audit trails of important actions, and export or delete a person's data on request. We do not claim compliance with any specific law, and we recommend reviewing your setup with your legal adviser.
Can parents in Jordan pay school fees through Ilmoria?
Ilmoria records payments by cash, bank transfer, cheque, card or online, and payment gateways can be connected on request. Each student has invoices and receipts that parents can view and print in the parent portal. Finance staff see statuses such as unpaid, overdue and grace period, and can put an account on hold.
Is Ilmoria suitable for Jordanian universities?
Yes. Universities use course versions, graded discussions with peer review, rubrics, integrity-monitored exams, and final grades with letter grades and teacher confirmation. Transcripts with GPA and credits go through an approval workflow and are issued as locked official PDFs, and certificates carry QR codes for public verification.
Does Ilmoria connect with the tools Jordanian teams already use?
Yes, for the most common ones. Users sign in with Google or Microsoft, live classes run on Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams links, and users, courses and grades can be imported and exported as CSV. Enterprise plans add SAML single sign-on, a REST API and webhooks. LTI 1.3 and SCORM packages are on the roadmap.
